Most fragrance brands order their scent from a lab overseas, put their name on the bottle and wait for the pallet to land.
We don’t. Every Balmain Body scent is crafted, mixed, filled, capped and packed in our own place in Sydney.
The juice is blended here. It goes onto our line to be filled, crimped and capped, and every bottle gets looked at by hand before it moves on. Then it sits for a month so the scent settles.

What does “approved by women” actually mean?
We sat down with women in person and had them smell the range, and we run fragrance studies asking women what they like on a man. What they told us shaped how the scents are made: softer, closer to the skin, and matched to where you are going.
Why six and not one?
Because picking one fragrance off a screen is a guess, and you already know it. Six gives you something different to wear day to day, and a month to work out which one is actually you. It is also NZ$279 for the lot, instead of NZ$654.
Can I get samples first?
No. Samples are the thing that does not work. Two sprays on a card tells you how it opens and nothing about how it sits on you an hour later. Full bottles and a free swap does that job properly.
